Meditation
Class
This gathering is open to anyone – beginners and experienced
practitioners. We begin each session sitting quietly for 15 minutes,
followed by a walking meditation, and then another 15 minutes of
either silence or guided meditation.
We have been reading excerpts
from Creating True Peace: Ending Violence
in Yourself, Your Family, Your Community, and the World by
Thich Nhat Hanh. We end each class with several minutes of sharing
thoughts or ideas that relate to our practice. Suggested donation
of $3-5.
