Touching the Heart of Iyengar Yoga: Practice, Reflection, Devotion

Please join us for an in-depth study of Yoga with Rebecca Lerner, a beloved, dynamic teacher who unfailingly offers illuminative ways of practicing. Students will be guided in asana and pranayama through the interplay that exists between three essential yogic principles: practice, reflection and devotion. This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in a fun and challenging weekend of Yoga with a very warm and insightful Senior Iyengar teacher.  Under her expert guidance, students gain inspiration and confidence to take their practice to a new level.

Rebecca has been an integral part of the Audubon Yoga Studio community since she first came to New Orleans to teach in 2006 amidst the upheaval following Katrina.

Rebecca is co-director of the Center for Well-Being in Lemont, PA. She has been practicing and teaching yoga since the 1970s and studies regularly with the Iyengar family in Pune, India. She has mentored and trained teachers in the Iyengar tradition both in the US and abroad and has inspired students worldwide. Rebecca received a higher level of certification directly from Geeta Iyengar in 2018 making her an Advanced Junior I certified teacher (Level 4).

Attendance of the entire workshop is encouraged but not required. While this workshop is not appropriate for raw beginners, students of varying experience and from different traditions are welcome! Modifications will be given so that participants can experience each class in a manner that is suitable for them.
